The rapper announced the arrival of her third child, a baby girl, in a social media post on Thursday. The new mom didn't hold back on posting pictures and videos from the hospital where she cradled her newborn daughter.
According to TMZ, despite ongoing divorce proceedings, Offset was by Cardi’s side, sitting with their other children and holding the newest addition to the family, whom Cardi affectionately described as "the prettiest lil thing." The baby girl was born on Saturday, September 7, 2024, as indicated by Cardi’s caption.
In her post, Cardi also shared intimate moments, including a picture of her breastfeeding her baby girl and another of her smiling proudly with a post-baby glow.
Cardi's pregnancy was publicly revealed just last month, shortly after she announced her decision to file for divorce from her husband, Offset. Reports claimed that the couple’s split was not due to infidelity, but rather a mutual drifting apart. TMZ also reported that Cardi's divorce documents confirmed Offset as the baby's father, and she has requested child support from the rapper for their children's needs.
Despite their separation, the pair has been maintaining a strong co-parenting relationship. They were recently seen together at their son Wave’s third birthday party, celebrating as a family.
