Notices have been served to owners occupying a piece of land with vehicles and caravans in Porthcawl. Bridgend County Borough Council have confirmed they are aware of the group situated on part of Locks Common in Porthcawl, and have contacted the owners.
The vehicles and caravans have been occupying the area since March 21, and have sparked complaints from local residents. The council has confirmed the owners of said vehicles have been contacted and they are undertaking a "legal process" to ensure the site is vacated.
They have also confirmed that, if the notices are not complied with, further action will be taken. Local residents have reported at least five caravans at the site as well as six additional cars.
