Chelsea could face Arsenal in the Carabao Cup semi-finals - if the Gunners beat Crystal Palace in their quarter-final next week.
The Blues booked their place in the last four of the competition with a 3-1 win at League One Cardiff City on Tuesday, while Mikel Arteta’s Premier League leaders are yet to play their last-eight tie against Palace due to scheduling.
In the other semi, Manchester City will travel to Newcastle after Pep Guardiola’s men swept Brentford aside, while Eddie Howe’s Magpies left it late to beat Fulham.
Chelsea will host the first leg against either Arsenal or Palace in a London derby, whatever the result at the Emirates Stadium next Tuesday.
Newcastle will be at home in their first leg against City.
The League Cup semi-finals are spread over two legs, with the first leg to be played in the week commencing January 12.
The second leg will be played on the week commencing February 2, with the final taking place at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, March 22.
