A car was 'written off' after a crash in Liverpool City Centre.
Merseyside Police were called to Sefton Street, at the junction of Chaloner Street, at around 7.46pm on Wednesday, May 4, following reports of a crash. Once officers arrived at the scene they found two cars had crashed on the city centre road.
Pictures taken by The ECHO show a black Vauxhall Astra with major damage to the bonnet, windows and doors. The impact of the crash also caused damage to the railing separating the pavement from the road.

The wheels of the car are facing outwards and a traffic can be seen lying on the pavement in the middle of smashed glass.
The North West Ambulance Service was called as a precaution and it is believed the people involved in the crash suffered minor injuries. Traffic is still able to pass the busy junction with help from Merseyside Police.
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service were also in attendance.
