A car has been pictured travelling the wrong way round a busy roundabout in Nottingham. The vehicle was seen driving anti-clockwise at the roundabout which connects Valley Road and Hucknall Road near Nottingham City Hospital.
A photo, taken at 4.20pm on Wednesday, March 22, shows what appears to be an SUV moving into oncoming traffic. A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police said the incident had not been reported to them.
Alliance of British Drivers spokesman Nigel Humphries said he could not think of another example of this type of incident. "This sort of thing really doesn't happen very often, it's happened more often on dual carriageways," he said.

"I can't think of another example where I've seen something like that, other than when a stolen car has been chased by police. I can't think of the last time I saw somebody inadvertently go the wrong way round a roundabout.
"Unless there's some reason why the driver was incapacitated then it's worth the council checking the signage and paint to make sure it's crystal clear. I'm not accusing the council of poor signage but it's worth them checking that and thinking it through."
