A car on fire on the M8 in Glasgow has sparked traffic chaos with commuters told to expect delays.
Emergency services were called to the reports of the blaze westbound at Junction 24 - the Helen Street Interchange, at 6.50am on Tuesday March 22.
There are no reported injuries and the scene has since been cleared.
However Traffic Scotland has warned motorists to expect delays following the vehicle blaze.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police were called to Junction 24 Westbound at 6.50am after being alerted to a car on fire.
"Scottish Fire and Rescue also attended to divert oncoming traffic.
"The scene has now been cleared."
