Firefighters have rushed to the Scottish Event Campus in Glasgow after a vehicle burst into flames earlier on Tuesday.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sent a crew to Exhibition Way, next to the Clydeside Expressway, shortly before 5pm after receiving a call to attend a car fire.
Motorists watched in horror as flames engulfed the small hatchback, which had been pulled into the side of the road.
An image of the fire shared with the Record shows thick black smoke rising from the blaze as the car burned, with the fire consuming much of its front end.
Fire officers were able to put out the fire successfully and have since left the scene.
It is not known whether there were any injuries.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We received a report of a vehicle on fire on Exhibition Way, Glasgow at around 4.45pm on Tuesday January 24.
"We mobilised one crew to the scene and have since stood down."
