A car crashed with a rapid response ambulance vehicle in Bristol this afternoon (November 2). The police were called at 2pm to reports of the collision in Totterdown.
The crash took place on the A37 Wells Road, with witnesses reporting emergency vehicles on the A4174 Callington Road. The force have confirmed that no-one suffered serious injuries in the incident.
According to TravelWest, the collision took place between St Johns Lane and Broadwalk. They urged motorists to use alternative routes following the incident.

The travel information page tweeted at 2.23pm: "Reports of an Incident on Wells Rd A37 between St Johns Lane and Broadwalk. Expect long delays, use alternative routes if possible."
Avon and Somerset Police said in statement: "At about 2pm today (Friday 4 November), officers were called to attend a collision between a car and a rapid response ambulance vehicle on the A37 in Totterdown, Bristol.
“No-one is believed to have suffered any life-threatening or life-changing injuries as a result of this collision.”
