Two people miraculously avoided serious injury after their car crashed from a first floor car park onto a busy Dublin street.
The incident happened last night on Baggot Street Upper at around 9:20pm. Gardai, Dublin Fire Brigade and two ambulances attended the scene.
The car landed upside down on the footpath below after driving through the guard rail of the first floor car park. The two occupants did not suffer any serious injuries but were taken to St Vincent’s University Hospital.
A garda spokesman told Dublin Live that officers are investigating the incident. He said: "Gardai are investigating a traffic incident that occurred on Baggot Street Upper, Dublin 4 at approximately 9:20pm on Sunday 9 July 2023, in which a vehicle drove through the guard rail of a first floor carpark onto the footpath below.

"There were no injuries reported but both occupants of the vehicle were conveyed to St Vincent’s University Hospital. Investigations are ongoing."
