Emergency services rushed to the scene of a crash between a double-decker bus and a car on Saturday (April 9).
Merseyside Police, North West Ambulance Service and Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service attended the scene of the crash on Derby Street in Prescot shortly before 4pm on Saturday (April 9). The road was blocked off as emergency service personnel dealt with the incident.
A spokesperson for the fire service told the ECHO that nobody was trapped in either vehicle and said any reported injured remained unclear. Photographs from the scene show damage to the left-hand side of the bus and to the right-hand side of the car.

Officers can also be seen sweeping debris from the road. North West Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
