Captain Sir Tom Moore’s family is said to have demanded his name be removed from the foundation set up in his honour and still not paid funds the charity insists are owed after a damning watchdog investigation.
It was revealed this week that renowned pandemic fundraiser Sir Tom Moore’s name had been dropped, changing it from the Captain Tom Foundation to the 1189808 Foundation, reflecting the organisation’s charity number.
