Capcom's latest Spotlight presentation showcased several major announcements, giving fans a closer look at upcoming content for "Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection," new updates related to "Dragon's Dogma 2," and an extended gameplay reveal for "Onimusha: Way of the Sword."

The livestream highlighted new story content, challenging endgame activities, gameplay improvements, and a powerful new boss awaiting players.

"Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection" expands with the release of the paid Additional Side Story: Rudy DLC alongside a free update designed for experienced players.

The new side story reunites players with Navirou, one of the franchise's most recognizable companions. The story explores the mystery surrounding Navirou's journey over the past two centuries while introducing his descendant, Rudy, as a central character.

Capcom also confirmed the return of Nergigante, the iconic Elder Dragon from "Monster Hunter: World." While players cannot recruit Nergigante as a Monstie, they can challenge the fearsome creature in a high-level boss battle.

The free update introduces Royal Monsters, unlocking more difficult encounters after players complete the main story. Stronger versions of the final boss, along with enhanced Calamitous Elder Dragons, provide new endgame challenges for veteran Riders.

'Dragon's Dogma 2' Receives New Gameplay Details

Capcom also shared new information about upcoming content for "Dragon's Dogma 2", including a new region called Norgan. This frozen northern land introduces dangerous enemies, hidden treasures, and a new storyline centered on a Fallen Dragon and a mysterious woman named Eir.

The presentation also featured the return of the Relic Expedition Cycle, a gameplay system that rewards players with powerful weapons and armor after completing challenging expeditions.

In addition, Capcom announced 12 new dungeons called Lost Rites, each containing rare equipment once wielded by previous Arisen. Players can also expect expanded character customization options, including additional hairstyles and tattoos.

Future free updates will introduce several quality-of-life improvements, including additional save slots, six weapon skill slots, and overall performance enhancements.

'Onimusha: Way of the Sword' Reveals New Boss Battle

Capcom concluded the presentation with an extended look at "Onimusha: Way of the Sword," the franchise's first brand-new mainline entry in nearly 20 years.

Players once again take control of legendary swordsman Miyamoto Musashi, who returns, wielding mysterious Oni powers, to battle the demonic Genma throughout a dark fantasy version of Kyoto.

Game Director Satoru Nihei introduced a new boss named Dohatsu-ten, a formidable Genma warrior that combines exceptional speed with devastating attacks.

During battle, its cursed sword grows stronger as it absorbs Musashi's blood and captured souls, creating an increasingly difficult multi-phase encounter.

"Onimusha: Way of the Sword" is scheduled to launch this September for PlayStation 5. Capcom also confirmed that a free playable demo is now available, allowing fans to experience the game's fast-paced samurai combat ahead of release.
