Police have highlighted the "appalling" conditions a cannabis grower was living in after discovering 40 plants at a Nottinghamshire property. Officers found the plants next to a tiny adjoining room with a makeshift bed made up of a wooden plank resting between two stools at the address in Clipstone Road, Edwinstowe
Police attended on Monday, April 12 following reports the Class B drug was being grown inside. As well as cannabis plants, the electricity was found to have been bypassed.
Rat traps were also spotted in the small and dirty area where the person tending the plants was sleeping and living. All the cannabis was seized from the address and destroyed, while the equipment used was also removed.
