John Ryder will look to pull off a massive upset when he faces boxing legend Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez.
The pair will face off for Canelo's super middleweight champion status in the early hours of Sunday. Should Ryder defeat Canelo, he would become the first undisputed male champion in the four-belt era for English boxing. It would be a sensational achievement for the former nightclub bouncer.
It will be Canelo's first fight in his native Mexico since 2011, and he has explained that "sometimes it's not about money" after reportedly taking a pay cut to fight in front of 48,000 at the home of Guadalajara football team, Akron Stadium.

It is not yet public knowledge how much exactly the fighters will earn, but Eddie Hearn revealed to The AP that Canelo has taken a huge pay cut (rumoured to be $10 million/£7.9million) for the fight to be in his home country.
According to Sports Payouts, Canelo will receive $15million (£11.9million) as guaranteed fight purse. Depending on pay-per-view bonuses he could earn upwards of $40million (£31million). Ryder is set to take home a guaranteed $2million (£1.5million) and potential $3.8million (£3million) depending on pay-per-view bonuses.
The pay-per-view share is a 70%-30% split in Canelo's favour.
