Theo Bair has departed St Johnstone ahead of the new season kicking-off.
The Perth club said that the striker, who had another year on his contract, has “agreed by mutual consent” to terminate his current deal.
Canadian Bair had made only a handful of starts for Saints since joining in January 2022 and often had to settle for late appearances from the bench.
He scored one goal in the Scottish Premiership - a peach against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.
A club statement read: “We would like to thank Theo for all his efforts while at McDiarmid Park and wish him all the best in his future.”
Saints travel to Dunfermline tonight for their first pre-season friendly in front of supporters.
