Can Wales beat Ireland and what's your verdict on Gatland's Six Nations team selection? Join us for a live fan Q&A

Warren Gatland has turned to some of his stalwarts from his first stint as Wales head coach to try and get one over on top-ranked side Ireland in the Six Nations opener on Saturday.

Twelve of the XV which collapsed against Australia in the autumn are named, with Dan Biggar returning from injury to take his place at fly-half, Tomas Francis recalled to start ahead of Dillon Lewis and Leigh Halfpenny starting at full-back for the first time in 19 months, with Liam Williams deemed to be a bit short on game time. You can catch up on the full Wales team news here.

So, we want to hear directly from you, the fans, about how you think Wales will fare in the Six Nations opener? Can Wales topple Ireland? What's your verdict on the team? Are you happy to see Joe Hawkins at centre alongside George North?

We want your questions, comments and predictions, so why not get involved in the comments section right here. WalesOnline rugby correspondent Ben James will be on hand to answer your questions and chat from 12pm today (Wednesday, February 1).

Wales: Leigh Halfpenny; Josh Adams, George North, Joe Hawkins, Rio Dyer; Dan Biggar, Tomos Williams; Gareth Thomas, Ken Owens (c), Tomas Francis, Adam Beard, Alun Wyn Jones, Jac Morgan, Justin Tipuric, Taulupe Faletau
