The 21-9 Winnipeg Jets host the 18-7-3 Vegas Golden Knights for an NHL game on December 12, 2024, at 8 PM EST. This game is interesting for many reasons most notably because Winnipeg has not beaten Vegas in over two years.
Winnipeg’s last win was on March 15, 2022. It was a one-sided affair that ended with a 7-3 score.
How Many Times Have The Winnipeg Jets Lost To The Vegas Golden Knights Since Then?
The Jets lost seven straight to the Golden Knights. They were winless in four games in the 2023 calendar year. Two losses happened during the 2024 calendar year, the most recent on November 29. The Jets lost a close one by the score of 4-3.
Both Teams Have Active Winning Streaks
Momentum may not be a factor since the Jets have won one, and the Golden Knights are riding a three-game winning streak. The Golden Knights have not played since December 6, an unusually long layoff during the NHL season.

The Jets have a lot to be proud of thus far this season including a record-breaking 15-1 start, but ending the seven-game losing streak against the Golden Knights would be a huge weight off of them.
If the Jets lose Thursday night, the streak goes to eight and continues until the teams meet again on April 3, 2025.
