Fabinho has admitted that he hopes that Roberto Firmino changes his mind about leaving Liverpool at the end of the season.
The Brazilian is out of contract in the summer and confirmed to Jurgen Klopp last week that he has decided against signing an extension. The 31-year-old will leave on a Bosman transfer at the end of the campaign as a result.
Firmino made his first appearance since it was confirmed he would be leaving the club in Sunday’s 7-0 thrashing of Manchester United, Coming off the bench late on, the forward would score Liverpool’s final goal in front of the Kop as he received the fondest of receptions from the Anfield crowd from start to finish.
