'Can see teams going hammer and tongs': Aakash Chopra predicts Rishabh Pant could become most expensive player in IPL history

NEW DELHI: Former India cricketer Aakash Chopra believes that wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant could become the most expensive player in Indian Premier League (IPL) history at the upcoming 2025 mega auction. Chopra opined that Pant, who has been in excellent form, could be bought for over Rs 25 crore as multiple franchises are expected to bid aggressively for him.

The BCCI has confirmed that the mega auction will be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on November 24 and 25. Pant's recent performances, particularly in the Test series against New Zealand, have only increased his stock, making him a prime target for IPL teams.
