Newcastle United midfielder Sean Longstaff has penned a new three year deal with the club following the completion of the 2021/22 season. The 24-year-old featured 26 times in total last term and has been a mainstay in Eddie Howe's plans since his appointment in November.
Longstaff, who is a by-product of the club's academy, has been with the Magpies since a teenager and has been rewarded for his performances this season.
Howe has seemingly given the midfielder a new lease of life since his arrival, having netting just one goal against Watford back in September.
