Cammy Devlin is reportedly weighing up big money moves as he is "torn" on his Hearts future.
The Australian midfielder is currently away with the Socceroos at the World Cup but has a big decision to make upon his return as to where his future lies.
His contract at Tynecastle expired at the end of an excellent season both personally for Devlin and for his club who ran Celtic to the final day of the term only to lose out by two points.
But now the Daily Record are reporting that Devlin has offers in front of him from USA, the EFL Championship as well as in Turkey while the Gorgie outfit have put improved terms on the negotiation table.
Devlin does not want to rush into his decision and the Record cite a source who insists the Jambos are still in Devlin's heart even if financial bids are better elsewhere.
Their source said: "Hearts are a great club and clubs are made by people. Graeme Jones and Derek McInnes are good people.
“They have been fantastic, completely understanding and very patient. While there are four clubs interested and Hearts are bottom of the financial trail, Cammy is torn between financial security and his love of Hearts Football Club. If it was just based on finances Cammy would be gone.”
Hearts sporting director Graeme Jones was recently quizzed on the 28-year-old's future and admitted he hoped to have business done soon, one way or the other.
He said: "Discussions are ongoing with Cammy's representatives and they're positive discussions.
“I would hope that we will have some form of closure in respect of him staying or leaving in the coming week or so.
“It's fantastic news he's made the Australia squad, that was so important to him and for us. We're delighted and proud that he has made that.”
Devlin has played 172 times for the club.
