New Zealand golfer Ryan Fox claimed his first career major at The Open Championship in Southport on Sunday. He stole the title at Royal Birkdale after Cameron Young narrowly missed forcing a playoff.

Young carded a stunning 64 but faltered at the very end. That allowed the 39-year-old Fox to seal the victory with a flawless final run.
