Cambuslang Rangers target new signing as star set for Pollok

Pollok Jay Nelson Cambuslang Cambuslang Rangers Billy Campbell Scott Williamson

Cambuslang Rangers co-boss Billy Campbell reckons the club will be heading into the transfer market in a bid to replace Jay Nelson, who he expects will move to West of Scotland Premier League club Pollok in the coming days.

Campbell says he would never stand in the midfielder’s way, and hopes he uses the potential move as a platform to even better things.

The Somervell Park club has previous history of nurturing talent, with striker Scott Williamson signing for Queen’s Park last season, and Campbell reckons Nelson is similarly talented.
