Cambuslang Rangers hit two huge milestones this week after star striker Scott Williamson took his tally for the season to 50 goals - and the club made it a century of strikes in the 2021/22 campaign.
Queen's Park bound Williamson netted his 49th and 50th goals of the season for Camby in a 3-0 win over Glasgow United, while Alan Reid also got in on the first half act as Billy Campbell and Paul McColl's team made it 100 league goals for the season.
It puts Cambuslang one win away from clinching the West of Scotland Conference B title this weekend and co-boss Campbell said: "It’s unbelievable returns. To hit 100 goals as a team is great and the goals against are good.
"But we have said all along, we’d take a 1-0 win every game if that’s what it takes to get success.
“One hundred goals collectively is phenomenal and 50 goals on a personal account is great for Scott, and it’s why he has got the deal he has got to push on.”
Cambuslang will claim the league title on Saturday if they beat Renfrew away from home. The club currently have a goal difference of 86, having conceded just 14 times in 24 games so far.
