The remarkable journey of Jason Arday,as one of Britain's most celebrated academics, has reached a stunning crescendo as the celebrated academic formally exits his post following mounting institutional pressure.
Arday, who made history in 2023 by becoming the University of Cambridge's youngest Black professor at age 37, stepped down with immediate effect as Professor of Sociology of Education and as a fellow of Jesus College.
