Calvin Harris was spotted looking cosy at Glastonbury festival with fiancé Vick Hope.
The Dumfries born DJ popped the question to the Radio 1 broadcaster after a five month whirlwind romance on his farm in Ibiza, where the couple spend a lot of time together. The two were spotted walking hand in hand through the crowd at the Somerset festival before Calvin's set at the Arcadia venue.
The Acceptable In The 80s star, who is set to perform his first gig in Scotland since 2016 next weekend, popped the question to Vick last month after news of their engagement leaked. The couple are said to be planning an Ibiza wedding as the island has become such a special place for them.
DJ Calvin is believed to have popped the question under his favourite tree at his Ibiza farm in an early May proposal. "Calvin proposed to Vick under his favourite tree on his farm Terra Masia in Ibiza," an insider has told The Sun. "Vick said yes immediately, she is madly in love with Calvin and could not be any happier. She has been wearing her ring for weeks now but no one really noticed.
"Of course her Radio 1 colleagues spotted it immediately and it's been an open secret there. Everyone is so happy for her. Vick has been telling people they are going to be getting married in Ibiza. It's a really special place for them both now and where they want to spend their lives together.
"Vick's mum is helping her to plan the wedding and they're already putting together mood boards and plans. It was a shock for some people because it happened so quickly but it is obvious how happy they make each other."
A second source said: "Calvin was flying Vick out to Ibiza on his private jet. It was all very romantic and he really laid out the red carpet. Calvin has found the one in Vick."
Calvin is reported to have wooed his future bride with a series of dates on his Ibiza farm before proposing and going public with the relationship. It's been reported that Calvin has already met Vick's family in Newcastle, and the inside source claims that the presenter's mum is already helping them with wedding plans.
The Slide DJ took to the stage at Glastonbury in the early hours of Sunday morning, and festival viewers were less than impressed after sound difficulties plagued his set. Calvin took to the iconic Arcadia stage, with his set kick-starting at 1am on Sunday morning shortly after Paul McCartney ’s impressive Pyramid stage headline performance.
However, the size of the crowds and the placement of the inward-facing speakers meant those at the edge were left wanting the volume turned up. Videos show the singing in the crowd could, at some points, be heard louder than the music itself.
