Newcastle striker Callum Wilson slammed Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka for time-wasting during Sunday's Premier League clash between the two teams.
Mikel Arteta's side came out on top at St. James' Park thanks to a first-half strike from Martin Odegaard and an own goal from Fabian Schar after the break. Magpies boss Eddie Howe voiced his frustrations with the Gunners after the full-time whistle, accusing them of deliberately slowing the game down because of stoppages.
Now, Wilson has echoed his manager's sentiments on the game, singling out Xhaka as one of the biggest culprits on the day. "He has sat down with his groin (injury) and he is smiling away like there is nothing even wrong with him," Wilson told The Footballer’s Football Show when speaking about the Swiss captain.
