Calls have been made to decrease the national speed limit to 64mph on motorways, and to ban millions of people from driving on a Sunday.
The proposals have been made to help reduce reliance on oil. Ten measures have been outlined by the International Energy Agency (IEA).
It's reported that the measures could cut global oil demand by 2.7million barrels per day within four months. In turn, it is said that would help control stock levels and prices.
