Experts have called for popular meal deal offers in supermarkets and retailers to officially be taken off shelves and banned.
The popular lunchtime deal - which comes with a sandwich, snack and drink - has a health chief calling for them to be made "illegal", due to the country's obesity crisis.
The Manchester Evening News reports that Dr Donal O'Shea, the Health Service Executive’s (HSE) clinical lead, has said the deals should be scrapped as they promote unhealthy food.
