Furious Good Morning Britain viewers want Richard Madeley gone after he hit out with an 'inappropriate' Ukraine war joke on today's show.
The presenter has already been in hot water this week after asking multiple female guests, including a Ukrainian MP and Iceland's First Lady, if they would 'really' take up arms to defend their nations.
Slammed for his 'stupid' questions, the 65-year-old is once again under fire for his quip on this morning's programme, Yorkshire Live reports.
As he and co-host Susanna Reid talked over McDonald's announcement that they would be closing all stores in Russia, Richard joked that country would now be a 'no-fry zone'.
With Susanna rolling her eyes and clearly moving quickly past the comment, it didn't go unnoticed by viewers.
Taking to their keyboards, one fan @FlopsyPickle wrote: "Richard Madeley is practically salivating as he discusses the war, it’s disgusting.
"When are Good Morning Britain going to see that he is an atrocious presenter, at any time, but especially at the moment #gmb #goodmorningbritain"
@julesywoolsey added: "Please GMB Richard Madeley is not the one!
"Please replace him. Does Rob Rinder still present? (not able to watch regularly (#gmb)"
@Beverle60606682 slammed the comment, addressing the presenter: "Richard Madeley - unbelievable and disrespectful, "No fries zone over Ukraine" #gmb".
@carrots23 thought about his co-host, joking: "I think Susanna’s given up any pretence of liking Richard Madeley this morning. #GMB"
MrADaviesDT penned: "Inappropriate Richard Madeley strikes again" with @AlanPaddock4 agreeing: "#GMB Madeley says to a good journalist let's cut to the chase? What can we do to help?
"He can help by stop asking inane questions and crazy comments and get off our screens !!"
