Call the Midwife series final episode replaced in TV schedule

Fans of BBC drama, Call the Midwife will have to wait even longer to discover the goings on at Nonnatus House at the end of this current series, as the final episode of series 12 has been bumped a week due to live TV event, the Baftas.

Episode seven of Call the Midwife will air this Sunday, on February 12, as planned but the following episode will now air on Sunday, February 26 as the February 19 instalment has been bumped for the BAFTAs on BBC One.

This current series has seen big changes at Nonnatus House after the train crash at the end of series 11. The house itself is under threat from closure, while society itself is seeing huge shifts as the action takes place in the shadow of Enoch Powell's inflammatory anti-immigration speech, which saw him dismissed from the Shadow Cabinet.
