The Call of Duty movie will take place in the Modern Warfare universe.

Director and co-writer Peter Berg - who is working on the film with Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan - made an appearance at Fanatics Fest in New York City on Saturday (18.07.26), where he shared the news during a Call of Duty in Culture panel which was promoting the upcoming release of video game Modern Warfare 4, Variety reports.
