Residents in western Los Angeles are grappling with the aftermath of the devastating Palisades Fire that swept through the area last week. Peggy Holter, a long-time resident of a condo on Palisades Drive, shared her heart-wrenching experience of losing her home and cherished memories.
Holter, who had lived in her condo since 1978, was forced to evacuate as the fire approached. Despite hoping for the best, she watched in disbelief as the flames consumed her community. The fire spared their homes for a brief period before a second wave destroyed everything.
