Authorities are searching for a woman who set fire to a Christmas display inside a California Target, forcing a store-wide evacuation.

On November 13, a fire was ignited at the Target on Ming Avenue in Bakersfield, Ca., leading to customers and employees being evacuated, KTLA reported.

Local fire officials speculate a woman described as wearing a pink hoodie and black pants, set the fire during business hours and fled the scene on a purple mountain bike, leaving behind a blue and multicolored backpack.

"This subject is described as an adult black female, last seen wearing a pink hoodie, black pants and white shoes. The subject was also wearing a blue backpack and carrying a multicolored backpack. The subject left the area on a purple and silver mountain bike with a wide seat," the Bakersfield Fire Department wrote on Instagram.

Investigators are currently searching for the woman, leaning on the public for tips that might help identify her.

Meanwhile, the Target is temporarily closed for repairs. No injuries were reported.

If apprehended, the woman could face charges related to arson and property damage.
