A video posted to TikTok by an account called Trending RFN has gone viral after it showed a customer discovering roaches in a Little Caesars pizza from a location in Union City, California. The video has since pulled in more than 660,000 views.
In the clip, a customer opens a Spider-Man-themed Little Caesars box to reveal a half-pepperoni, half-jalapeño pizza. The woman says, “Oh my gosh!” seeing roaches coming out of the box. The customer then says on camera, “Do not order from Little Caesars in Union City. They had roaches in their pizza. It’s literally roaches in y’all pizza.” The camera pans across the pizza.
The customer also threatened legal action, saying, “Don’t p**s me off, I’m suing. I’m suing.” She added, “We don’t have roaches, you nasty a** b**h.” Little Caesars has not publicly responded to the video.
Little Caesars locations in Florida and California faced pest-related shutdowns and citations in 2025
Little Caesars locations have made headlines for pest-related violations by health authorities before. In August 2025, the Sacramento Bee reported that a Little Caesars location at 3901 Madison Ave., Suite 95, in North Highlands, California, was shut down after health inspectors found cockroaches inside the facility.

According to the report, inspectors documented one live adult German cockroach on the tile behind a one-door upright freezer, one live adult cockroach behind the electrical outlet plate where the freezer was plugged in, and approximately five to eight live nymphs on the floor near the same freezer.
Inspectors also found around 10 dead cockroaches in various parts of the facility, including under the front counter refrigerator. That same inspection, per the Sacramento Bee, found seven food safety violations in total. Inspectors found several pepperoni pizzas stored on a speed rack outside of proper temperature controls, a violation that was noted as chronic and repeated, meaning it had been flagged at a previous inspection as well.
Open containers of garlic, parsley, and baking powder were reportedly found on the prep area without lids. A sanitizer bucket near the front counter reportedly contained no ammonia, which was also a repeat violation. An employee’s personal water bottle was said to have been found sitting on a food preparation table.
Inspectors also noted structural issues at the North Highlands location, including a cracked tile at the mop sink, broken tiles around the same area, ice buildup inside the upright freezer, and peeling ceiling tiles along the walkway leading to the restroom.
Separately, the Miami Herald reported in December 2025 that a Little Caesars location at 1436 Lantana Rd. in Lantana, Florida, received a complaint inspection that resulted in seven total violations, four of which were classified as High Priority. According to the report, inspectors found dough being prepared using dry dough mix from a package that appeared to have been gnawed on, which inspectors indicated was consistent with rodent activity. Similar food safety concerns have led to recalls for other products, like metal shards found in Trader Joe’s pizza.
Inspectors also documented what they described as more than 10 pieces of rodent droppings inside a box containing deep dish mix on a shelf under the dough prep area, and more than 30 pieces in and around boxes containing deep dish dough sheets.
The video drew mixed reactions in the comments section. One user wrote, “Thats roaches in your house,” suggesting the roaches may not have come from the restaurant. Another commenter questioned why the customer did not check the pizza before leaving, writing, “Yall didn’t check before yall left??” A reply added, “Don’t think they came from the pizza place,” echoing similar skepticism about the origin of the alleged roaches.
The allegations in the TikTok video remain unverified, and no official inspection findings have been publicly linked to the Union City location shown in the clip. Little Caesars corporate has not issued a public statement addressing this specific incident. Similar food safety concerns have been reported at other restaurant chains, including a recent incident at a Chili’s.
