Calcutta HC hands over probe into Bogtui neta murder to CBI

CBI Bhadu Sheikh Calcutta High Court Kolkata

KOLKATA: Calcutta High Court handed over the Bogtui upapradhan murder investigation to CBI more than a fortnight after Bhadu Sheikh was killed by motorbike-borne miscreants on March 23.

The court directed the central agency to file a report on both cases — Bhadu’s murder and the Bogtui killings — on the next date of hearing.
