Caitlin Clark had the most Caitlin Clark response after breaking the NCAA scoring record

Caitlin Clark was hyped for a brief moment after setting the all-time scoring record for women’s basketball, but then she was all business. When asked how she felt about her historic milestone, Clark appeared grateful but wasn’t as impressed with her team’s defense.

On a night that should have been about her, Caitlin Clark had other things on her mind, like Iowa’d defense against Michigan. Clark came out of the gate clicking on all cylinders, and after breaking the NCAA scoring record (which she did in a blazing two minutes and 12 seconds), she was already up to 23 points before the second quarter.

However, Caitlin only scored five points after that, and the Hawkeyes weren’t as comfortable as Clark would have liked, despite a 53-41 lead at halftime. Clark made sure to mention that when asked about her new scoring title.
