During the Indiana Fever’s home game against the Los Angeles Sparks on Tuesday night, rookie guard Caitlin Clark continued to put some outstanding highlights on the court.
During a hugely impressive sequence, Clark managed to block a Sparks shot on one side of the court and quickly made it back to the other side just in time to hit a thrilling logo 3-pointer. It’s the kind of moment that made Clark such a legend at Iowa.
As much as the Fever have struggled as a team and Clark has taken time to adjust to the WNBA, impressive plays like this show just how much the rookie is capable of as a professional.
Clark will probably be doing this regularly in no time as she gets more accustomed to the speed and talent the WNBA has to offer. For now, moments like this are tantalizing glimpses of what’s to come for her.
