The “Angel Reese hates Caitlin Cark” narrative is a dumb one, despite some moments we’ve seen from the “you can’t see me” moment in college to the flagrant foul just a week ago.
They’re two players competing on a basketball court, and Reese has talked about how it’s not personal between them.
But we’ve seen how the Chicago Sky and Indiana Fever games are out here breaking viewership records, and with the two teams playing again on Sunday, there’s a lot of buzz about this becoming a “rivalry game.”
When Clark was asked about that on Friday, she gave a great answer: it’s just another game to the Fever, although it would have been great to play it in a bigger arena like the United Center in Chicago.
