Caitlin Clark doesn’t want her and Angel Reese making the WNBA All-Star team to ‘take away from everybody else’

It’s pretty incredible that two first-year players — Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese — made the WNBA All-Star team, but as the Indiana Fever rookie pointed out after the Indiana Fever loss to the Las Vegas Aces, Clark was quick to point out that she doesn’t want that to overshadow everyone else who made it.

She noted that she had never been Reese’s teammate before, but then had a great addition, knowing the hype that’s been put upon her and Reese (who was tearful when she heard that she was an All-Star): “I know people are going to be really excited about it, but I hope it doesn’t take away from everybody else. This is a huge accomplishment for everyone on Team USA and Team WNBA. They all deserve the same praise.”
