Cadbury will release a limited edition caramel version of its popular Twirl bar early next month.
The Twirl Caramel is a new take on the beloved snack, with caramel flavours wrapped into layers and layers of chocolate.
Producers Cadbury has been planted a series of adverts in some of the most unexpected places in the run up to its launch.
This included ads that were partly submerged in the River Thames, in the UK’s least used train station and on a remote Welsh island.
Each of the ads contained the hashtag #ControlTwirlHype.
The Twirl Caramel will be available in supermarkets and newsagents from June 6 and will be priced at 69p RRP.
Bars of the new chocolate will line up alongside the Twirl Orange and the original flavour.
Frederike Grohmann, Brand Manager for Cadbury Twirl at Mondelez, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to share the news that Cadbury Twirl hits shelves this month, but whilst we know how popular the bar is going to be, we want people to know that it’s a limited-edition bar.
“Over the past month, we’ve been asking superfans to help us keep it under wraps, but now the secret is finally out! We can’t wait to hear what the nation thinks of our latest flavour innovation.”
