Cadbury teases mystery new chocolate bar - but only some people can see adverts

Cadbury is driving sweet-toothed fans wild by teasing a new chocolate bar - but only letting some people see the adverts.

Usually when a new product is set to hit the shelves you’d expect adverts to pop up everywhere and promotional stands popping up in shops.

But Cadbury has taken a different approach with their latest creation. At various locations across the UK posters have appeared for a Twirl Caramel - but in the most unlikely of places.

Several fans took to Twitter to share photos of adverts they’d seen on village notice boards, while other adverts have been placed in remote locations, such as the Plas-y-nant station in Snowdonia.

Another advert was mysteriously placed on the banks at the Royal Victoria Dock in Greenwich, which could only be visible at low tide.

It’s a technique that’s clearly worked as people are desperate to get their hands on the latest offering.

One wrote on Twitter: “The Twirl Caramel sure looks scrumptious!” While another added: “I’ve found the ad..how do I secure the caramel twirl, don’t leave me hanging.”

A few lucky fans who spotted adverts received a reply from Cadbury suggesting that they could get their hands on the new treat before anyone else.

With flavours of sweet caramel swirled through the chocolate, the Twirl Caramel sounds delicious and is definitely set to be a hit.

It’s not the first variation that’s been released. Last year the Twirl Orange became a permanent feature in the Cadbury range.

The chocolate giant even shared a series of obscure riddles to help people identify the locations of the adverts, which were shared with certain fans.

But if you weren’t one of the lucky few to get your hands on a bar, fear not, as they’re set to be available in shops from June.
