Cadbury fans tucking into their Christmas advent calendar were left scratching their heads after struggling to find the first door on their Heroes advent calendar. Following a baffling search for the first treat, shoppers jokingly said they "wanted a refund". The text on the first door has been printed in dark purple - leaving it near impossible to see.
One disgruntled shopper even jokingly demanded a refund after their upset child eventually found the door which only led to “the pain of getting a Twister", Leicester Live reports. Taking to Twitter, user @nosila17 penned: "My son was most upset! I demand a refund and then the pain of getting the Twister which he doesn’t like - not a good day for him, but a win for me."
On the topic of its design, @jrrr1510 added: "Terrible design choice. Purple on purple! Ridiculous." While @amycampbellxx wrote: "If my advent calendar doesn't have a 1, does it mean Santa hates me, or just @CadburyUK? There are gonna be some crying children and stressed parents this morning..."

Luckily, some eagle-eyed chocoholics posted snaps of their calendar pointing out the location of the elusive door. After it was highlighted, @F_DeathlyHallow wrote: "Oh my! Thank goodness you pointed that out. I couldn't find it and thought I was going mad!" And @leemarmara said: "I thought I was going mad trying to find it!"
Responding to the complaints on Twitter, Cadbury wrote: "Sorry to hear that! Please contact the customer care team here: http://bit.ly/YCpDCW & they'll look into this for you." LancashireLive has approached Cadbury for comment.
Despite the initial struggle of finding the first door, this year’s Heroes advent calendar should delight Cadbury fans, as it includes all of the brands chocolatey hits including Fudge, Eclair, Wispa, Twirl, Dairy Milk, and Crème Egg. It comes as Cadbury released two new chocolate bars in October, the flavours of which were initially kept a mystery.
