Police have arrested a man in connection with a suspected arson attack at Cabot Circus shopping centre in Bristol city centre. Yesterday (August 21) the shopping centre toilets were set alight - and a man has now been arrested on suspicion of arson.
Fire crews from Bedminster Fire Station put out the blaze wearing breathing apparatus using a high pressure hose reel.
The man arrested is in his twenties. Avon and Somerset Police have released a statement.

They said, "Officers investigating a fire in the toilets of Cabot Circus shopping centre yesterday (Sunday 21 August) have arrested a man on suspicion of arson. The man, aged in his twenties, remains in police custody and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
