Liverpool’s Takumi Minamino will wait until after Saturday’s Champions League final against Real Madrid to decide on his future and insisted he is just ‘concentrating on the match’.
The Japanese international has endured a mixed time since he signed for the Reds in 2019 from Red Bull Salzburg for £7.25m. He struggled initially at Anfield before leaving on loan for Southampton in 2021. However he has played a vital role this season as top scorer in both domestic cup competitions, which Liverpool would go on to win.
And Minamino scored another crucial goal during last week's 2-1 win at Southampton to remind everyone of his quality. However, that was his only Premier League start of the season and he is way down the pecking order at the club. Jurgen Klopp is facing a decision on whether to let him go in the summer amid interest from numerous clubs including Inter Milan.
