A historic matchday pub could be yours as it goes up for sale.
The Flat Iron pub, found on the corner of Walton Breck Road and Anfield Road, is on the market. Previously known as The Breckside, the pub has stood in Anfield since the 1850s.
Less than half a mile from Liverpool FC's ground, the Flat Iron has always been a popular matchday pub. Its distinctive shape, redolent of Manhattan's Flatiron Building, helps it stand out as you approach Anfield from the east.

Its walls and bar are adorned with Reds scarves, flags and murals, while there are also a number of nods to Ireland and Dublin in particular.
As well as being a popular drinking spot - with a three section bar area and function room - the Flat Iron has guest accommodation. In 2019, more than £500,000 was invested to refurbish the venue with eight boutique hotel rooms, making it a convenient spot for people travelling to Anfield for a game.
Listed on RightMove and marketed by property company Sidney Phillips, the pub is available for offers in excess of £850,000. The listing states that the pub's net turnover in the 2021/22 financial year was £650,000.
People interested in making an offer are asked not to make a direct approach to the business. Instead, they are asked to direct all communications towards Sidney Phillips.
