A busy Glasgow city centre street has been closed due an ongoing incident.
Fire crews have surrounded the DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central hotel on Cambridge Street this afternoon.
The incident has meant that Cambridge Street is currently shut off to traffic in both directions from Renfrew Street to Hill Street.

Traffic information site INRIX issued an alert concerning the road closure, which read: "Cambridge Street in both directions closed due to police incident from Renfrew Street to Hill Street. The road is closed due to an ongoing incident in the Hilton hotel."
Police Scotland confirmed to Glasgow Live that officers were made aware of an incident, but that "there is currently no requirement for our attendance".
The Scottish Fire & Rescue Service has been contacted for comment.
UPDATE: Cambridge Street has reopened in both directions.
