Buster, the trampolining dog who won the hearts of the nation in a John Lewis Christmas advert, has died. His owner broke the sad news on social media where she shared pictures saying: "Fly high our beautiful, special boy, we shall miss you forever."
The bouncy boxer left families in tears when he appeared on the store advert in 2016. He was considered one of the most memorable characters in a John Lewis festive advert, winning the hearts of many.
The ad told the story of a dad setting up a trampoline in the garden for his daughter ready for Christmas Day. Buster sits inside watching as animal after animal all have a go on the present while Buster can only whine from behind the glass window.
