Busted fans hit by Ticketek and O2 Priority problems as early access tickets go on sale

Busted fans have been left feeling 'frustrated' this morning after trying to get tickets for the highly anticipated Busted tour.

Fans of the band took to Ticketek and O2 Priority this morning in an attempt to bag tickets to their huge 20th anniversary tour. The tour will see the original trio James Bourne, Charlie Simpson and Matt Willis visit cities such as Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, and Liverpool.

Pre-sale tickets went live this morning at 9am on Ticketek, and some customers with O2 Mobile were able to get access to pre-sale tickets through the O2 Priority app or the Three+ app. Some Busted fans were successful, others took to Twitter to express their frustration.

One Busted fan from Liverpool said: "Finally got unstuck from the queue for Busted tickets and all the Wowpit section has sold out, been on there since 9 trying to get it to load... Suppose I'll have to try again Friday." Online ticket company Ticketek also caused some issues, with some fans claiming the website 'crashed'.

A second fan from Liverpool tweeted: "Ticketek crashed completely so I reopened it and it let me straight into the Busted presale and I got tickets for Liverpool... wtf??? I sat on that sit tight page for 20 minutes."

A third said: "Obsessed with Busted crashing the O2 Priority app and people are just wanting to use it to get free sausage rolls and coffee from Greggs [crying emoji]."

We approached O2 Priority and Ticketek for a comment. An O2 spokesperson said: "The Priority app is working as normal, and customers are currently getting through for Busted tickets."
