A business owner has called on Liverpool Council to do more after flytippers left "bottles of urine" on a busy industrial estate.
Simon Barnfather, managing director of manufacturing firm Proline Corporation, said the local authority needed to clamp down on drivers of heavy goods vehicles leaving rubbish at Gillmoss Industrial Estate, off the East Lancs Road, including what he describes as bottles filled with urine. Mr Barnfather added that rubbish is “accumulating with no consequences” to those responsible.
He said: “Proline Corporation Ltd have been on Gillmoss Industrial Estate for over 17 years and have never had any problems. Unfortunately, over the last few years, we seem to be having a lot of problems with lorries parking up at the sides of the road and blocking oncoming traffic.
